I'm sharpshooters cousin ( yorkielover). I would like to say that David thought the absolute world of everyone here on the forum. The conversation's we had consisted of the people that he had met on the forum and he said more than once that he had " never met a nicer bunch of friends" even though he never knew any of you on a personal basis.

For those who would like to read Dave's obituary, it will be in tomorrows paper ( Sunday) www.ashevillecitizentime.com

I just saw the post's today, so I'm sorry for just now getting around to sending this.

I will also miss him too, ( at least we got to go to the shooting range. The first time he was in the hospital I kept telling him he had to get better because he had promised me that he would take me to the range. Sure enough we did it...It was the first time I had ever been.

Again, in Dave's honor. Thank you all so very much for the kindness that was given to him!!!!!!

Linda

Happy shooting Dave Gillespie - (Sharp Shooter), you will be missed and remembered.

We are all sorry for your loss, Linda. Please accept our deepest sympathies and pass them along for us. There are no words that can help now, if there were I would give them to you and yours. If there is anything that will help let us know and I will do anything in my power to make it happen. I know these are hard times, but keep him in your heart and he will never be truly gone.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the future.
