Its beena full week for something that should have taken two days. Anybody else think its likely gone for good?

I've seen this happen on other (car) forums I've been involved with. Someone says they're going to take it down for two days for repairs or maintenance and it ends up taking two weeks. Good intentions and poor planning collide.

I doubt it's down for good. If it is, the Hi-Point community has lost a great resource. Hopefully the good members from over there will find this forum and make it better than the "other" forum was, whether it comes back up or not. Competition makes everyone stronger.

Shame we can't get some of those sticky's. I know there was a good ATI installation guide. Much better than the ATI instructions, which are sketchy at best.

All those stickies were made by members, eventually someone will repost it here... if they are intrested.

Th only way a forum grows is through participation of its members.

I'll miss HPFF if it is down for good. Anyone have the address for the person who had the Zombie Squad patches made. I need to order some but the information was on the downed site.

If they enjoyed the other forum, they'll eventually find their way to this one. That's the problem with the pm, you never know the actual address. pm's were the only way I ever communicated other than posting.

All Posts survived and I'M currently trying to retrieve a large section of posts from the 1st HPFF before the great hosting site crash of "07". If I'M successful then over 50,000 posts and I'M hoping for 100,000 prior posts maybe added to HPFF within a month or two depending on talks with the original hosting site.
