Seriously bud, it's kinda of a joke that started here after I started bitching about not being able to find a 4595ts until after I bought my 995ts. Then My LGS got a few in. Lol.

Mech, last time I checked, you were still on the "black list". Sorry Bud, guess you are going to have to borrow my 4595 to shoot, if you ever get up this way.

I'd like to meet the dick head that black listed me in the first place. ;)
If I ever get a vacation, you're my first destination, and we will definitely shoot this myth called the 4595ts. Lol. Actually, my LGS has a few of them, but I think it won't be until Christmas again before I get one. They probably won't have them in then either. Hp will screw up one day and I will zig when they thought I would zag. Lol. Zig-Zag, brings back memories. Lol.

I would, but some of the people here don't like me and I'd have to watch them more than the target. ;)

well then f*** them just come shoot with the cool people haha. so serious question...i have an sks and the thing is bulky. now i am by no means small. im 6 foot 250lbs but look like im 220. the sks is synthetic stock black. i love the gun and it is currently my deer rifle although this will be my first year using it for hunting due to the fact that most of my life i lived in shotgun zones. on my rents land they have some woods that we will hunt in but it would be very difficult to even attempt a 100 yard shot with how thick the trees are. if this is the case and i use +p rounds would the 995ts work as a deer rifle for anything 75yrd or less? because i would love to use something smaller than the sks. i know the 7.62 has the raw stopping power but hell if it isnt ungainly...i think i need to get a new stock for it

to amend my post i realize that 9mm doesnt have the energy for long range shots. but seeing as how most shots would likely be under 50yds maybe up to a max of 75 would the 9mm work...not would it be the best choice, but would it work. and is it legal to carry two rifles? cuz i would bring both with and longer shot use the sks short range use the more comfortable 995ts

Shot placement.

At short ranges a .355" bullet will do its job if you can do yours.

I knew guys in Oregon that would shoot deer in their orchards from their back porch with .22 lr at about that range.

The deer died every time.

Well check your local laws on legal calibers used to deer hunt. That being said, I agree with Amp, I know a .22 LR will take out a deer. Of course I would never do this, it would be against the law.

Brother, with me around, we would have to watch the brews.

Hell yeah brother. I mean we would need targets to shoot at. Beer cans at about 15 yards are a good target. Watch us get crucified for drinking before shooting. Jokes guys. :hand:

I love it. I'm on a seven year plan to quit smoking cigarettes. First I'll go to cigars for a bit, then I'll go to the chaw, then maybe snuff, then the patch and finally the gum. But I would love a nice cigar right about now. I got a few Phillies. Thanks for the idea. :thumb:

I happen to love the look of my factory stock, but I don't know anything about ATI stocks. There are a few people on here that has had experience with them though. I've heard both good and bad about them. I've read where some had to do some work to get the stock to fit right.
