Went to a gun show the other and saw the 45 and 9mm carbines for the first time. After that I looked at the 45 hand gun. My problem is I don't know which to buy....first. any suggestions or comments

With ammo prices might want to get the 9mm...most like the carbine better. You can pick the older style up pretty cheap

Welcome to the forum nighthawk! 9mm will be your least expensive to shoot. .40 cal probly has the better performance, in both the handgun and the carbine.

So it just boils down to what you want! I have one of everything I can afford! :-)

I agree with cbr and isp. The 9mm is the way to go. The 995TS was my introduction to pistol caliber. I knew that a 9mm was going to be my first handgun so I picked up the TS. Whatever way you decide to go, get a carbine and handgun in the same caliber and you only have to buy one caliber of ammo.

If I ever work my way into a .45. I am sure I will buy the TS first in this caliber before i buy the handgun.

Oh and welcome to the forum.

Ran into that problem myself. I just bought one of each. If money is an issue. I'd definitely go with th 9mm. It's much cheaper to shoot and you can find 9mm just about anywhere.

I hope the gunshows in your area are better than the ones in mine.

Of the handguns, the .45 is the best choice.

Well, of course you buy them all. If you can't get them all at once the proper order is:
4595
995
(4095 if you want)
Then handguns.

Think I might go 45. See if I can work a deal by buying the pistol and carbine together

Great choice bud. The .45 is pure American at it's best, besides it's my favorite caliber. Lol.

BTW: :welcome: from WV.
