Just wanted to say hi to the gang here. I recently got back into target shooting (messy divorce = loss of toys). Picked myself up a Ruger 10/22 to plink with and a Hipoint 45 ACP for home defense and pistol target time.

I'm looking forward to reading through some posts here and seeing how others are enjoying their high points

Shawn

:welcome: from Iowaaah!

The sad truth is we don't often talk about Hi-points. :? There is nothing they do wrong which is worth talking about. Mostly the issues are with the magazines and with a little couch time and common sense those can be corrected in a few minutes worth of time. On the other end of the spectrum there isn't a whole lot that can be done to improve on it either besides personally preferred cosmetic treatments and a new rear sight in the case of the pistols. :dunno: The Hi-point is what it is. Accurate, reliable, dependable, and to some, ugly. To me, it looks like a Gluck on steroids.

May we always realize the cost of our freedom. We can never repay them, but the very least we can do is uphold the ideals that they died protecting and honor them in the choices we make each day.

Just because you are unnatural, bizarre, bring problems on yourself, and don't fit in does not mean I dislike you...well, yeah it does

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!” ― Hunter S. Thompson
