Happy shooting Dave Gillespie - (Sharp Shooter), you will be missed and remembered.

We will miss you Jerry Roberts - (woodyubet), you will not be forgotten.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

Yeah about those pro mags,.. I just got my 995ts new a couple months ago, and on little instruction booklet that came with the carbine was a warning that went something like... The use of promag 15 round magazines will damage the weapon and void your warrenty.

Sucks, but I've read about people having all sorts of feed issues with those things as well.

Anyway welcome to the forum, and do what you want with your carbine, some people could'nt care less about a warrenty.

Plus I keep wondering if a little handy work with a dremel tool could keep the promag from damaging the gun?

The new ones are supposed to feed okay. I've stuck with factory 10 round mags and never felt I needed more.

I hear the newer 15 rd promags are a lot more dependable, but they supposedly cause damage that Hi Point can recognize, and it is one of the very few things that affects the warranty on these weapons.

Up to you of course, as someone said recently, considering the carbines are not super expensive guns they will take their chances and use the hi cap mags and if they screw the gun up they will just buy another carbine.

thanks for the welcomes and replies guys! im willing to spend some money to take a look at the promags and how they fit and work. from all i have seen and read on them, it will not take much to make them work. i do not have an all out machine shop, but some good basic knowledge and tools.
