New to Hi-Point, bought a C9 . Went to the range the other day and it fired everytime. The bad reviews and the gun dealer telling me to stay away from them, they are junk. Helped me with my final decision to purchase the Hi-Point.
I have Twenty five plus years with using a variety of handguns and training people on how to use a handgun safely.
I would have no problem recommending a Hi-Point.

Happy shooting Dave Gillespie - (Sharp Shooter), you will be missed and remembered.

We will miss you Jerry Roberts - (woodyubet), you will not be forgotten.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

Funny how that works ...

Popular opinion and experience are not always congruent.

So you're a contrarian ... this forum needs one of those.

So you're bragging about being an old fart too?

There might be one or two others here who'd recommend one too.

Welcome from Arizona and congrats on the c9! If you decide you want to upgrade the rear site to metal so it doesn't move every time you take it out, we have a guy here on the forum that makes em... just ask.

Want to thank everyone for the welcome. My family and I went to the range Sunday afternoon. And again no problem with the Hi-Point, can't say the same for my Beretta. My son had a great time with the C9 and now wants the 45 that Hi-point makes. I do see a 45 in the very near future for him.
