I picked up a Hi-Point 995 with ATI stock on a whim. I heard so much negative stuff about Hi-Point from my friends but I bought it anyway as the price was right. What a pleasant surprise this carbine has been. No jams or FTF with several hundred round through it. Three inch group at 50 yards. Absolutely love this cheapie rifle. To those who poo poo the HP Carbine I can only say try one before you judge.

If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

A lot of people know things that just aren't so.

You are in plenty of company around here if you want to praise the carbines.

Jack, had a chance to shoot it yet? How'd it run for you?
