Well, this is my first time out. I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with.

I need to get in touch with David Mahan about his sights. His website has a "Contact" page, but that *^&$%# little security thing at the bottom will not work for me. You need to enter the robot buster code but I cannot get it to display. I have tried using IE and Google Chrome with XP & Win 7, and my Android phone. I still cannot get it to work.

I sent him two emails to the address shown and neither were answered.

I have a customer that needs a set of sights for a 9mm, but this is not possible yet. Could one of you fine folks give me a hint or if you can get his email to work, ask him to contact me at phil@blackbirdarms.com so I can spend money with him.

Thanks a bunch,

Phil Wagoner

Wait around a bit and somebody who has his contact information will help you out.

In the mean time put up your feet and BS a little -- we've got nothing better to do than read what you write.

If we get lucky you might even say something to impress us.

Phil/ustawuz, I called Mr. Mahan and described your problem. He should be contacting you through your provided email address in the next day or two.

Glad to be of help!

If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

Thanks folks. I got a really nice email from David this AM (Wed). Problem seems to be on way to be solved.

I pretend to be a gunsmith most days (07/02) and I have seen only a couple of HiPoint guns. They are really healthy and from what I read on this forum they seem to be pretty good.

In today's market cost and value are a little disjointed. Your guns may be a well kept secret.

Good day all, and I will be back to BS later.

Thanks again.

While certainly not being Dan Wesson 1911s, HiPoints have proven themselves to be rugged little tanks!
Most operate without problems from day one. In those that do have issues, 90% of the issues can be traced to the
magazines. And, they have a great lifetime warranty that has historically been honoured beyond the call of duty by
the factory. Many folks have messed their HiPoints up doing modifications and called HiPoint (mom) knowing they would be buying parts.
After explaining to "MOM" that they messed up, Mom usually refuses to let them pay for parts and just sends them for free.
THAT"S a tough to beat warranty service!!

Glad Dave got a hold of you and you will see immediately that his sight is far superior!!!

Cheers!
