I'm a new member from GA. I'm in law enforcement and like all kinds of guns. I like my HI Points pistols and carbines. I love hushing up Hi point haters at the range. My little C-9 eats power ball ammo like a chubby kid eating milk duds. My 40 carbine and 40 cal pistol hits the man size target at 100 with iron sights. That makes them look. I carry my C-9 while riding my motorcycle. I like just tinkering to see what will make that little C-9 run. Power Ball seems to be the answer. Someone told me the new Winchester Nato runs good in Hi Points since it is loaded up to plus P specs. Has anyone tried it. Glad to see a site that appreciates a truly inexpensive but damn tough guns.

Interceptor - glad you joined us!!

I have a 45 ACP pistol (JHP) and the 4595 carbine.
I about have the pistol wore out - gonna try the lifetime guarantee here before too long!! (-:
The carbine I need to spend a little more time with - I just got it in March.
I haven't been shooting much lately. )-:

Anyway - don't be afraid to jump right in anywhere you want!!
There are a bunch of good people around here and I'm sure they'd love to hear what you think. :great:

welcome to the forum. Glad to hear that you are a happy Hi Point owner, so many people snub their noses at them without giving them a fair chance. They are like any other mechanical device, if it doesn't work, a little tinkering usually fixes it.

Most of us are older guys, many are ex military. We don't have too many that have worked in law enforcement. Thank you for putting your ass on the line for us.

Feel free to jump in and say what's on your mind, we are pretty relaxed around here and don't have a bunch of rules to follow. More like a bunch of guys sitting at a table drinking coffee and shooting the breeze.

Hope you like it here and decide to stay around a while.
