Hi Points have been pretty good,
first one C-9, except for the mags was decent, traded it for a shotgun, which i traded for $175 worth of ammo(non inflated price) Value: made out well!
second one 4095TS, awesome carbine, set it up the way i wanted, but with spare time limited did not get to shoot much, traded that for a one month old Beretta Storm with a bunch of extra's, Value: got more for it than i put in.
third one 40JCP, overall excellent pistol, i carried it hunting, but i have since picked up a sweet Taurus PT 24/7 .45ACP that can fill that purpose and also be used as a daily carry, selling that one today for what i paid for it 2+ years ago. Value: came out even
so it will be soon the first time in over 3 years i do not own a Hi Point, in past year i have gone through a phase of only keeping/or getting what i know i will use/carry a lot, never thought i would part with the JCP, but this winter is never ending here and work has not picked up as well as it usually does.

so to anyone who thinks a Hi Points worth is less as soon as you buy it, i think not, i ended up coming out way ahead with mine, even though they run higher in price here than in other parts of the country. i will most likely buy another 40JCP when the chance pops up.

it had been somewhat decent, 40-50 temps, then starting early am Friday got a rain/snow/sleet, temps dropped to around 20 and got messy fast, drove 372 miles in it, not fun
