took my savage out today. shooting winchester wildcat rounds aswell as some cci stingers and i got my scope sighted in at 30 yards and i was able to put 3 out of 5 rounds through same hole consistently. was about to move to the 80 yard berm and my dad got a case stuck in his remington 700. so i decided to pack up and leave instead of making him watch me shoot. but ill get out to a longer range son. it looks to be a good shooter for the price these things run.

Sounds good! The wind is supposed to die down to below 15 mph Sunday so I'll be out workin on the 100yd range. My hopes not up but ya never know. Gotta do a whole new sighting in and then get someone to video it. Not sure how that's gonna happen. I don't know anyone with that kind of patience. It could take one shot or a hundred to make the penny depending on the wind. .22 just weren't designed to shoot that far I don't think. But therein lies the challenge. :great:  I know I can do it because I've done it before but this time I have to document it. That changes the whole ballgame. And I've still not got my sights plumbed up right................. Good luck to ya!!

OH yeah , I'm just gonna keep on using the bulk Rem's. It's all I can afford. Still have a couple hunert left out of the box.

Its hard to get any 22 ammo unless u want to pay 15 for a 50 pack. I have a remington 597. Love that thing. The first gun I bought about year ago. It was acurate out of the box. I have floated the barrel.polished all the internals.volqurtsan hammer. Mcarbo spring and spacers. Bsa 6x24 scope.it shoots about anything good. Some of the best I found to be winc wildcats. Fed. Gameshock cci standard vel. And agulia. 25 yrds 5 shot groups ussaly all touching inside half inch bull.
