ok no pictures because i didn't have a camera!, i shot 3 Hi-Points today
C-9
40JCP
4095TS

first the C-9, i have owned this and shot this one for 2 years, as usual performed well, except for my newer 10 round mag which jammed every 2nd round, used Federal FMJ 115gr FMJ ammo, as usual it was dead on at 100 feet

second the 40JCP, i bought this in early spring and this was its first outting, it shot very well, i had ONE failure to feed using PMC 180 gr. FMJ, i used 4 different mags, and mostly Federal 180gr FMJ's, pretty much hit dead on at 100 feet, my impression of the 40 is it is AWESOME! i like it alot more than my C-9, if only it weighed less!

third the 4095TS, i bought it in February and this was its first time shot, i used Federal 180gr FMJ and 4 different mags, at ranges around 250 feet, and holy crappers did it perform well! at first i was using the BSA red dot scope i bought at the accessories site, but i could not zero in the scope at all, could have been because it was very sunny and the red dot was barely noticeable, but when i went to the iron sights i was on target and had groupings in the +-2 range, i LOVE this carbine!!!!! it is such a joy to shoot!

As far as the 10 round C-9 mag goes. I used to have all kinds of trouble out of it until I sanded the sharp spots on it and reset the lips and ears. Oh yeah, don't do like me and put the spring back in upside down. Lol.

Ricky, I would start with a new battery for the Red Dot, never can tell how long it has been on a shelf. Nice shooting by the way, glad you like your Hi Points. Most of the 10 rounders for the C-9 will work in after a lot of shooting, but most people I know do like Mech did, but don't put the spring in upside down...

In my self defense, I did put it in upside down by my dad's wishes. It actually shot fine, but didn't Hold the last round open. My stupidity should a lesson of what not to do. Lol.

Mech, that's about the only thing I have noticed about them too. I only laugh, because I too have done it. :wow:

Yeah tweaking it might help, take a caliper just to make sure it needs it. Really breaking them in generally does the trick.

Now when you get a 995TS, that will help the breakin process of the 10 round mag.
