A while back I was able to put a few rounds through my nephew's Glock .45 and 9MM Beretta (he is fresh out of college and knows it all and he would never lower himself to buy a HP). This past weekend I took my brand new HP 380 out for test drive. I tried 6 different types of ammo: PMC, Magtech, PRVI, Hornady, Aquila and a local gun shop had me try some reloads that a local guy is trying to get them to sell. Never thought I would consider myself a gun snob, but after comparing the Glock, Beretta and Hp, I am now a HP person all the way. I only fired about 130 rounds and only had a few issues. The first mag had 8 rounds and had one FTE, fixed by loading only 7 after that and no problems. I had a couple of FTEs with the reload so that is what it is. It fired perfectly with the rest. I can't wait to get out again. Already looking for my next HP!

Congrats on your new pistol. I suggest you load your mags and leave them loaded and then take one round out for shooting until the mag spring breaks in.'

If you like the Hi Point pistols, get yourself a Hi Point carbine. Everybody loves the carbines.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

Congratulations on the .380! Troll just got a .45 HP he really likes and like Walt said, EVERYONE likes the carbines! That will most likely be my next purchase.

Sorry to see you go Dean. Never enough time and it makes
