Went to Knob Creek Range this morning. I ran 100 rds. of Federal Premium Aluminum case 115 gr. FMJ through the C9 without a hitch. The fall Machine Gun Shoot is next weekend (Oct 10-12), so I'll head out there next Tuesday with my grandson in tow for his first trip to a range. With 17,000 people expected at the shoot, I'll stay home and watch NASCAR. http://www.knobcreekrange.com

I realize this has been up a while but I can say I'm having good luck with the Federal aluminum ammo too, in both 9mm and 45acp in several guns including HPs. $9.97 for 9mm 115gr FMJ and $14.97 for 45acp 230gr FMJ at the WMs in my area.
Last couple trips I made to the KC shoot were a bit crowded. Haven't been in a few years, glad I have seen it but have no plans to return.

I use aluminum case Federal in my C9, 1911 and the new XD .45.
As for Knob Creek, I seldom go on the weekends. I like to go on Monday mornings and I hook up with a group of old guys like myself who most people refer to as "The Liar's Club". I don't why they call us that!

Do we fish!?
I went fishing a while back and caught a one-eyed large mouth bass. I drug him up on the bank and thought he had only one eye, but I was wrong...when I walked around to his other side, sure enough he had two eyes!

To finish up this story...I didn't have a scale large enough to handle the fish, but the picture of it weighed 5 lbs.!
