My wife shot her HP 380 today. 3 magazines. 21 feet. 9 rounds. 8 in a 2 1/2 inch circle.She's a new shooter. I am duly humbled.
I ran over 100 rounds tthrough my C9 at varying distances. All were lethal. Tried to get it to jam. Rapid fire, double taps followed by 3 rapid rounds. 9 rounds at 2 per second. All flawless.
I also shot several firearms with my friend using my C9.
He is now planning on buying one and he owns multiple expensive firearms.
Every time I shoot my C9 I find I just really like it. I could not justify another firearms expense unless I bought it just because.
I sound like fanatic but my experience with Hi Points tells me they are an excellent gun price not withstanding.
Planning on a 45 soon. I am now sounding like a Hi Point collector!!

Welcome to our world :) Most all of us here have had that light bulb flash over our heads at one point or another. Hi Points are a seriously underrated firearm.

Comments, suggestions and opinions are always welcome. If I can help, I will.

Happy shooting Dave Gillespie - (Sharp Shooter), you will be missed and remembered.

We will miss you Jerry Roberts - (woodyubet), you will not be forgotten.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

You shoot a HiPoint? What a piece of crap, I'm surprised it didn't blow up in your face.

Just funnin ya, I have a couple, you'll love the JHP.

Are you saying "just because" isn't a reason to buy a gun?

I argue with the "gun-snobs" all the time about Hi-Points!!

One feller on FB made a bad comment about Hi-Points and I jumped his ass - nicely!!
And after a few comments back and forth, He apologized.
I didn't know it at the time, but he is an ex Air Force guy and he has a pretty big "circle of friends" on FB.

To make a long story short - We ended up as FB friends and I've sold him 3 or 4 guns - and several to his friends!!
The guy said he still hates Hi-Points, but when I argued with him i showed a little "class"...
I misunderstood a point he was trying to make during that 1st encounter, and I apologized.
I think that impressed him too... :D

I have - well "had" 2 Sons-in-law that both have 45's.
One has a Glock, the other a Rock River Arms.
I have a JHP.
On two occasions we were all at the range with our 45's which, of course, ended in a little competition...
And the old man spanked the young punks both times!! :thumb:

Neither have changed their minds much - the one SIL especially still makes fun of my Hi-Point.
It might be ugly - So I always remind him - it apparently shoots better than his RRA!!

I alway thought it a bit hypocritical when Glock lovers say Hi-Points are ugly.
That boxy looking Glock isn't exactly a "Thing of Beauty" there either!!
