Thank you. I had to take the carbine apart to replace the firing pin. When I reassembled it, everything lined up without any problems. Hi-Ho Hi-Ho Its off to the range I go!

It broke after I shot the target pictured. Too much dry firing, mia culpa. No Matter the replacement firing pin is an upgrade, according to the Hi-Point tech. It is hardened and came with two springs, inner and a shorter outer spring. Mine only had one spring and a short plastic collar.

One of the advantages of being "old" is the ability to look smart when you screw up! No one at the range knew what happened, so I walked up to the counter and said "Do you have the metal snap caps, the plastic ones stick in the chamber of my gun.". l looked wise, but I knew I was a big dummie and should have had snap caps! Being "old" is cool. You can get away with a lot of stuff!
