Picked up my C9 yesterday and I had to take it out this morn!

The first target was my second run. I shot only 24 rounds (I was trying some different things). I got cocky after hitting three close to the center so of course a couple go off center. At least I made 23 outta 24 hit the paper! I took another run at Sponge Bob. The last two targets were my last two runs. The accuracy is kinda scary. The RO was impressed with it. I stopped a habit I was getting into, looking at where the bullet goes after firing instead of keeping my focus on the front sight.

I had some nose-ups but I attribute that to the fact, I got three mags in Saturday from FedEx and the one that comes with the C9 yesterday. Not much sitting time for the rounds in the mags. I used S&Bs, Brown Bear & Blazer Brass. 350 total. I was trying to break it in today. I think another 100 will do it.

Happy shooting Dave Gillespie - (Sharp Shooter), you will be missed and remembered.

We will miss you Jerry Roberts - (woodyubet), you will not be forgotten.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

I hear ya Ape, every weekend I wasn't working, it was nasty...including this one! But we still shot some, only got a little wet on Saturday! Still managed to get some fishing in yesterday though! Taught the SIL how to use a fly pole, he saw his first "caught-out-of-a-river" fish, (mine) and then caught his own first river, and first on a fly, fish (smaller than mine!) ). Poor kid! But he's learning. ;)

Not a bad morning all in all. :D Then it rained in the afternoon, again... But we still ran the BBQ and just ate lunch inside. Good food, good times.

Sounds like good times indeed ajole! ;)
The only problem with going shooting at the range for me is getting it to dry out and stay dry.
Other wise it's a big mud pit. :(

I need to wait for some good weather for some fishing too. That way we can camp out and enjoy the whole experience. ;)
