Pretty pricey stuff Mike... How many pistols could you do with a kit like that?

More than one I hope. I should be able to get a few before it wears down. Just have to keep it clean and not burn the mix while heating it up. :good one:

From that, I'm guessing it's the kind of product that you make it and do all your projects at once. Not the kind of thing where you can use "a little here, a little there"...?

For the price of the kit it should make a top line finish!

If you can reuse it that's much better. If you have to use it all at once, you better have several to do at the same time.

But it says- "Economical, Easy-To-Use System Produces Genuine, High-Quality, Tough, ... " economical :hmmm: It appears refills are available.

So to break the kit down to the basics in the picture= a $10 face shield, $5 vinyl or rubber gloves, $7 mechanics wire, one $0.12 filter mask, two metal tanks (look like regular steel not SS) maybe $30, one SS tank $30, one brown thingy and a jar of something PRICELESS! ....Gotcha!!

Cool kit! Keep us updated.... :yes2:

Well if he charges $10 a pop to do weapons, he will have his money back in no time!

Im picking on phat, he thinks I should sell my weapons at $3 over what I pay for them, not including shipping LOL. When he gets into business for himself he will see its just not that easy.

Be more creative!

If Milo Minderbinder can buy eggs for 7 cents and sell them for 5 cents each at a profit you should be able to sell the guns for a profit at a $3 markup!

I guess there are two trains of major thought in business, and both are either educated guesses or at the least a balancing act.

one-try to get as much or more than the market will bear, and hope the market catches up with this philosophy, or

two- try to make the profit in volume sales like walfart does.

Obviously walfart has done well with this stragedy  . But it takes money to make money like this also.

On the other hand there seem to be a lot of gun and supply dealers that are going the other route, (CTD for one) and life didn't stop on their doorstep. A few pissed off people soon forgot about being pissed off at them when it was clear they had what people wanted. And the market did catch up with their philosophy. Go figure.

The catch is balance. Repeat customers in a finite market are hard to come by if they feel they've been taken; even after some time has gone by. They may walk out of store A feeling like the deal they got was great but then two weeks down the road they wander into brand x's market of guns and see the exact same thing for $$$ less and it's not on sale and it's a stock item. :dunno: Suddenly they feel cheated and store A just lost a customer. That customer tells his buddies and so forth.

It's a balancing act for sure. Get what you need and hope it's not too much or sell for less than what you need and HOPE word of mouth brings them to your door. No guarantees, that's focheesy.

BTW- the preceding was extremely over-simplified in some respects and exaggerated in others.
