I was a little unsure about the last one, I basically ruled out the ones it wasn't and came up with it was a ross. I've read about them but never have seen one. Thank god for multiple choice, you have at least a 25% chance of being right every time LOL

I've been playing with milsurp weapons for probably 40 or 45 years, far from an expert but if you don't pick up some smarts in that timeframe you need to pick a different hobby ;)

I got 6 of them correct. Pretty good since the days of collecting military rifles are 20 years or more in thr past. I once had British sniper rifle with 32 scope, 03a3 Springfield sniper rifles, a Johnson rifle with spare barrel, several Enfield Mark 1 and Mark 4 rifles, Enfield jungle carbines,Japanese type 38 rifle, Japanese 7.7 rifles, Japanese type I which was made in Italy for Japanese, several Garands,MI carbines,98 Mausers, and more.

All these were unaltered weapons. And the eighties were glory days for collectors. This stuff today ,each of them, are 10 or more times more in value today. Johnson rifle 400 in mid eighties now??????
I just guessed It would last forever. But we know better now.

I hear you Ivan! To the best of my knowledge the Johnson rifles are claiming some big bucks now when and if they come up for sale!

Yes! Those weapons I mentioned were Very affordable to the working man in the seventues and eighties. The ones I listed averaged around 400 bucks each.EASILY in range for the common Joe who back then was Not the forgotten man. Never ciykd imagine that 5,500,000 manufacturing jobs would be shipped out by Cobgress under Nafta.
Truly a horrid fact.

If you were dealing and collecting guns in those days ,you know the deal.A real bummer for America all the way around.Four thousand and up for this stuff us out if reach in today's poor economy.

When I bought my SVT40 I paid less than 400 for it and it was an ex sniper. Lost it in a pawn shop, I get sick when I see them for sale to this day. You had some rifles I only dream of because I didn't become aware of them until the prices were already on their way up.

The SVT ! Yes I had one in early nineties snd paid 300 bucks. Didnt shoot it much and sold it. I heard later that those could be turned into full auto. That would have been Crazy since those were never meant for full auto fire and RUssians knew that.

I also had a Early German Semi auto G43 which I ordered from Sarco when I had my Ffl. It had the early smooth receiver and very rare to find since all the others I saw in later years were with rough receivers and crappy looking. Paid 300 for it ,but sold it.Took it hunting one year. What's a G43 or K43 fi for today????

I'll have to post about serial number 10 Inland carbine that Got Away from me. One if the first 20 prototype s.

I got 6 out of 9. I think 3 I recognized and 3 I'd never seen but knew from history enough to make a good guess lol.
