First firing with Winchester 230 gr. ball ammo. 100 rds. with no failures at all.
Factory sights at 25 yds. as they came out of the box.

About 6 in. right and about the same low, :wow:

Have not moved the sights yet as I am still working on trying to get used to the trigger. :dunno:

Gonna have to move the sights a large amount to correct 6 in. at 25 yds.

Good choice for a carbine. Six inches at 25yd is quite a ways off, but first things first. You're right to want to get used to the trigger or gun before you try adjusting anything. How were your groupings?

Welcome to the forum Ken!!! A wave at ya from Arizona.
Just fired a new model 4095 last week and the trigger was REALLY stiff! To the point that it was affecting my POA.
you may be seeing the same thing. One I shot had a reflex sight on it so it was easy to see, just super stiff trigger.

It was smooth enough (seemingly) just a STRONG spring is what it felt like.

I guessed how much the sights were off on my first post as some shots were off the target and on the backer.
Measured today and the shots were 8 in. right and 4 in. low at 25yds.
This was off a bench with sandbags .
Something is out of whack and it is not all me. The low I can understand but not the 8 in. right.
60 yrs. of shooting and never had one this far off out of the box.

Ken, it's probably the sights. Plastic right? Have you adjusted them yet?
I'll bet once you sight it in, it'll shoot on the dime at that range. I have a C9 pistol
that was just like that. I bought Mahan sights for it (metal) and it's spot on now.
Those plastic sights are one way that HP keeps the cost down.

The carbines are popular because they are great! inexpensive shooters!
Most of us like to tinker anyway and end up with real nice guns that shoot
as well as much more expensive ones, for much less money!

Mr Mahan has been working on a metal replacement sight for the carbine...
Not sure if he's got it ready yet.

Bottom line, many of these come, not well sighted in from the factory.
adjust your sights and let us know. Though we are not at all affiliated with the factory,
We like the guns cause they work! They have the best warranty in the
industry, we and they, will help you figure this out so you have a real nice one!!!

We understand. That's why the regular bunch of us are here!

In fact, some of us older guys, perhaps not so regular anymore. Need more fiber ;)

I don't own a 4595 but I imagine its front sight is just like on my 995. The sight base is held on by 2 set screws. Check to see if the front sight base is canted slightly to the left. This would cause the problem you're having and is easily adjusted.
