Anyone on the forum have a trajectory chart a .45 ACP fired from a 4595 carbine with it's high sight line using 230 gr. RN ammo at roughly 850 FPS ?

Also what is your suggested sight in distance for the same ?

Ken, I think it's going to be about the same as the pistol curve, but at about 100 fps faster so it will flatten out some. I'll see if I can find any charts or graphs on it sometime today.
With any luck, I might have something worthwhile by tomorrow!

Winchester offers a pretty good table. Just click "launch" and select your cartridge.

You do not get much boost from the longer barrel with the .45. Even the super lightweight bullets get no more than 1200-1400fps and the 230fmj slugs sometimes show slower speeds from an 18" tube than from a pistol due to friction.

I would like to know the difference when fired from a 4595 .
Pistols have the sight line low and close to the barrel.
The 4595 has a very high sight line and that makes a huge difference.

What I am trying to find out is the best to zero the carbine.distance

The Winchester table was almost dead on with what I found with my 4595.
When I got it back from the barrel replacement , the test target was shot at 30 yds. and the 9 shot group center was about an inch high.
When I fired it at 50 yds. with WWB 230 gr. ammo , POI was the same as POA.
Two of us fired 3 mags. (27 rds.) and had one nice group at point of aim.

Great news! Mom took care of it, and it's doing what it's supposed to! Can we ask for more?

One mistake I made when I used the Win. Chart . I failed to inject sight distance above the bore.
Went back and changed the default on the chart and changed it to 2.2 " which closely matches my front sight on my 4595 and things got even better and looks like a 50 yd. zero will work great.
