Afternoon Boys,
Ya know, I like the idea of having the Hi-point tool on me when I'm out with the 995. But I also want two allen wrenches for adjusting the scope if I need to. I don't want the forward grip that carries the tool, so I figured I better make something to carry all three tools.
The one I already made up was nylon but it didn't have a tool pouch on it. So I put one on.

Image

Now I like leather, so I made another one out of leather and put a tool pouch on that one too.

Image

The nylon is softer and slides around easier then the leather one does, but the leather is new and may soften up after a while.
Now I have to figure out which one I like best, darn decisions.

All in all, it's getting better.

I really like how you have that 995 set up hobbles!!

The sling is very cool - the sling itself and the way you have it attached - I like!! :great:

I keep thinking I should get a 4595 - I'd probably have the most fun with it and it'd be cheaper to shoot too!!!
A Win Win!!

Thanks Boys. I like the leather one but it was just too stiff and wouldn't slide across my shoulder to easy, so I made another one. This one is way more comfortable.

jasonsch,
If you have and reload for a 45, then that is the way to go. It's nice to carry one kind of ammo that fits all your weapons.
(My summer attire, it's hot out there.)

That's a nice looking sling.
As a former Kentuckian who now lives only 25 miles north of your state border, I can relate to the heat and humidity that plagues the region. A Mason jar full of corn -based "pop skull" doesn't beat the heat, but it does make it more tolerable.
After seeing your pics, I suggest we start a club called "Ugly Guys with Ugly Guns" (UGUG). I'll serve as the poster boy!
I really like my ugly gun.

Looking great Hobbles! Like the woven sling, like the accessories you've chosen too!

But, you are going to have to get some camo paint for them legs! ;)
