Welcome Burg Guy!!!
Offhand, I've seen/heard that of the carbines, the 995 has more troubles than either
the 4095 or it's big brother the .45 version.

I'd say go with the 4095. Better velocity out of the .40 round than the .45 round, so,
flatter trajectory. Also .40 ammo is more available and less money than the .45. ;)

If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

Thanks for the welcome :)
Couldn't the same be said with the 995 as far as the flatter trajectory? Wouldnt the 9mm have more effective range, though the 40 would have more stopping power, with a tad less range? From a survival stand point the 40sw be a more effective hunting round im assuming? I have defiantly ruled out the 45...

If you don't reload, buy the 9; it's cheaper than .40 and .45

If you are going to reload go ahead and get .40 or .45

I don't have a .40 ... but that's subject to change; I like the 4595 a lot more than the 995 but the 9s are plentiful and you can often find one used for small money.

I don't reload, YET.

But here Ammo prices don't vary much at all from the 9mm and 40sw. There is actually an over abundance of 40sw everywhere i bought ammo.

.40 is also a higher momentum projectile. It's my favored handgun cartridge other than maybe 10mm or .357 mag.

I'd go for the 4095 but I reload and have a JCP that can share mags with it.

I also have the JHP so I may have to go for the 4595, I am a fan of the .45 acp.

Decisions, decisions...what's a guy to do.

when i bought a carbine, i bought the .40, one reason was i like .40, the second was the 9mm and .45 were more money! why i do not know, probavbly because the .45 had just come out and the 9mm is popular, anyways if i bought another it would be 9mm, only because ammo is cheaper and easier to get around my parts.
