I have a chance to trade my unfired pap m92 chambered in 7.62x39 for a slightly used Taurus raging bull chambered in 454/45lc. Have zero idea what I'd use it for but my AK pistol just sits in the safe as well. They guy would toss in holster used brass and 20 loaded rounds.

I would have to toss $125 on top but the m92 is going for 500 while bull is going for 800. Seems like a good trade what do yall think?

Everything that is financially beneficial is not always logically prudent.

I would only consider it if I had two AKs for each family member and did not own a handgun at all.

But that is just my opinion of the AK and the Bull.

Besides, by the end of the year you may not be able to buy an AK at any price.

I already own another AK in 7.62x39 along with a saiga 308. Good point about political climate the AK pistol along with other so called evil guns might jump in price.

I won't touch anything Taurus. As soon as feasible I'll add another AK to the racks.

i am trying to get a Raging Bull .454, damn awesome revolver! i have owned a lot of Taurus firearms and all have been super reliable. i am not a fan of AK's. if i was in your position i would do it in a heartbeat. but consider all factors and do what's best for you

Also check ammo availability, I can get x39 a lot easier and cheaper than 454/45LC

I have a Taurus Raging Judge 410/45lc/454 casul and it is a really neat revolver, that being said, I'm with tincup, since the latest shooter used a ak rifle our glorious leader may make another grab attempt at "weapons of war" (his words) IE assault style pistols and rifles. if he does and the prices skyrocket, you may be able to sell your ak pistol and buy a Taurus raging bull and still have a good chunk of cash in your pocket.

No guarantees, but I know I am sitting on all of my ar's and ak's waiting to see what happens.

I've slept with an M16 tucked under me a time or three. I was glad when I was issued a 1911 in the ARMY, was a lot easier to sleep with, lol.

I bought a Saiga in 7.62x39 from Bud's right after Sandy Hook, on sale for $319. I doubt those prices will ever come back.
