The choice is yours, everyone dislikes at least one thing or one gun.

Just because you are unnatural, bizarre, bring problems on yourself, and don't fit in does not mean I dislike you...well, yeah it does

I'm too new to dislike any. My only continuous experience is with the Hi Points. A friend has a Ruger with a 7 shot single stack.
My Son has a Clock 40 cal. with a dual stack 13 plus one. The Block weighs the same as my 9. The little Ruger is light but doesn't feel right but would do the job. As for others.....as I have always held....and you say...personal preference.
Wish I were better at 50'.

Same thing, they are the guns I dislike. So Gluck, Block (similar yet different from a HiPoint), Brock, Brick, Dlucks, whatever, is an apt description for them.

Now this is truly snobbery since I have only shot a Glutz once, and didn't like the way it sat in my hand. But that was one model only. True snobbery.

There is only one gun brand that I do not have much use for and that is because of my personal problems with them. I will not take a Jennings in trade anymore.. have had too many problems with them and since they are out of business parts can be hard to come by.

We will miss you Jerry Roberts - (woodyubet), you will not be forgotten.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

That statement about the cat clawing up the inside of someone's leg reminded me of a friend's cat he had many years ago. This guy had the most intelligent cat I've ever seen, he trained it to be a watch cat.

It would sit on the door jam over the back door, and when you came in you had to be sure he called that cat down first, other wise that cat would rip you apart. It did many things that dogs do, retrieve, roll over, sit, lay down, beg, but it didn't bark.

I've never done well with laser sights either, and for the same reason, I had a tendency to chase the laser around also.

It's been a while since I've owned any HP's, so I can't remember if they are heavier than my S&W snub revolvers. Never got used to carrying a 2.5" M66 on my hip, but 30 years of doing so, is probably one of the reasons why I have major back problems. I don't seem to remember the C9 being quite as heavy, and certainly not as bulky as an M66 snub or like.

I could not find the M66 with a 2.5" barrel on the S&W webpage to compare so I compared the C9 with a S&W 686Plus (7-shot) with a 2.5" barrel for weights. The C9 is 29 oz. , the S&W Weight Empty: 34.1 oz / 966.7 g. , the .45 HP is 35 oz..

C9 is 29 oz
S&W 686Plus is 34.1oz
HP .45 is 35 oz.
