It's pretty wild!!

I've carried AR-15's through the office where I work to give them to the owner after mounting a scope or cleaning them.
Usually the ladies just give me a glance or sometimes stop me to ask questions about it...
Like "How much does one cost" or "Who owns that one??"

That's one reason why I live here. :D

Lol!! Sometimes it does slow me down a bit!!
Years ago, they fired a lady for bringing paperwork from
her husbands small business and working on it during company time...
But, when it's the people I work for,
the business owner and his wife - -
I figure I'm pretty safe!! (-:
Sold him an AR and her a 380 Beretta Pico :great:

Any day you can mess with guns at work and it doesn't involve dodging bullets is a good day at work IMO

My FB page usually is pretty inactive for long periods of time...
Followed by a short time with lots of activity!!

It sure is a bummer that FB restricted gun sales like they have.

Before - I could list a gun for sale and the post would show up so the public could see it.
There were "gun groups" here in sparsely populated South Dakota with thousands of members...
I could "share" my post's with these groups and sell a gun fairly quickly.
And it was all done for free - Too good to last for long though!!!

It all came to a screeching halt when FB changed it's policy on gun sales.

Now if I post something, I think it only shows up with people that "follow" my page - and that's it.
Folks can't even share my posts - I don't think it can anyway.

But it's still a handy place to tell folks to go to see some pictures and a description for a gun.
I'm thinking about re-opening a website for that too...
As I still believe FB is messing with me and making it difficult to post and especially to edit my posts.

I think even if a regular person even posts a picture of a gun on FB - there's a good chance of getting banned or blocked for 3 days.

It's funny how the 1st Amendment is believed in and held sacred and defended by all means possible...
And even used to allow stuff that was NEVER meant to be called "free speech" like porn - among many other things.

But the very next one - The 2nd Amendment - is all wrong and outdated and vilified by the same people.
It CLEARLY states we can hav e guns - but it's restricted in all kinds of ways.
Treated just exactly the opposite of the 1st Amendment!!

People like that should be shot - but I'm sure I wouldn't be allowed to say that - even thought we have "free speech"...

Say... Isn't gun ownership a form of "Free Speech"??

A fellow I work with is retiring and Wednesday was his last day...
So we had a little get-together for him at the end of the day in the Engineering Dept. :D

Drank the whole bottle too!! :thumb:

It was the kind he liked - kinda "top shelf" for me!!

I'll miss the guy - lot's of experience goes with him.
He saved my ass several times!!

He's 67 - and I hope he has a great retirement.

Meanwhile - I hope this headache goes away before I have to go to work!!!
