My guess is mad you were happy.

What Randy said!!
Nothing makes my wife angrier than when I've accomplished something or am happy.
When I'm both, I know to be ready for - - Something from her!!

Only exception of course is when the accomplishment is money I've earned and Happy to give it to her!!
And even that is temporary...

I guess I just got lucky. To be fair though, it took three tries. DW seems happiest when I'm happy and even though she's past retirement age, she keeps working to support me. We were on a date when my horse went down with me. I was an invalid for six months and she moved in and took care of me. About three months later, on one of my good days, a Judge married us. Actually stopped court in the middle of a trial, and had the attorneys act as witnesses. I'm still a kept man about 15 years later. I have to buy my own guns and ammo, but she did get me 5 pair of 5.11 pants (No, I'm not a mall ninja). I think she would be perfect if she wasn't a socialist, but she doesn't complain about my politics.

My God Codger - - You don't read her any of my political posts, do You???

I was going to point to James Caravelle (a socialist Clinton democrat hack) and Mary Matalin (a common sense conservative) and their marriage.
I just looked them up on the net - - They're getting divorced this year - - Political Differences!! :funny:
I never read up on it in any detail, but I'm guessing it might have something to do with Trump getting elected... (-:

Lets just say Love conquers all - If you got each other then all the rest of the bullshit does't matter.

Absolutely Husker!! They'd be no one to cook and clean and do the laundry...
But there would be a hell of a lot less of it to do!! Especially laundry...

That's easy Tolly - Lies!! Yes - Big Fat Bold Lies!!
They always say how great it's gonna be and you'l get to have it a dozen times a day...

So you do the "right-thing" shell out the bucks for a big-ass wedding for her to look good and make all her friends jealous...
And once the "I Do" gets over with - well that's it...

You've Just Committed "Financial Suicide"

My wife just told me about and hour ago that Friday was my pay-day...
I don't even bother to keep track of which day is pay-day - - - or care anymore - - - I don't get any of it.

Your life has peaked and and you just removed all reasons to live and voluntarily entered yourself into...
Marriage slavery!!! - - And soon - - Married with Children Slavery!!!

Right away - or very soon after they go into the "I wanna have a baby!!" stage.
And they'll say it over and over again until you give in just to make her shut-up!!

When the baby shows up she finds out its a hell of a lot more work than she ever imagined (even thought you tried to tell her)
and enters into the "Angry all the time" phase as well as using your own child against you at every possible opportunity.

"If you buy that gun/car/motorcycle/etc. that means you love that more than your own child and wife?? How can you do that??"
Finally you just stop resisting - give her all the money and resign to being happy with your allowance and some occasional peace and quiet...

Suddenly your old and full of health problems and wondering, "How did this happen to me?? I was supposed to be a contender!! Why did I do this to myself???"

And with the one and only your right you have left - the right to remain silent - You ask yourself...

"Angel of Death - where are you??"

It might not be like that for everybody...

No, it's pretty accurate. 30 years for us now, am I changing? HELL no! She's getting more and more irrational. She's doing really stupid things seemingly out of spite. Yesterday, brings in a quarter full hay rack of hay, drives into the rear of the drive that I've been working on getting it ready for new gravel, exposing the decades old gravel etc. It has been raining since Friday so the ground was saturated. She got stuck, didn't just stop like a rational person, she digs and digs and digs until the truck AND borrowed hay rack where sitting on the axles in the mud. :groan: Tore the place up! It'll take a year for that to be right again. And it's right where the hay elevator is. Irrational anger...just because the hay she bought had mold in it....
