Anyone else have one of these? I find it to have excessively thick grips.
What's ya'lls opinion?

If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

As close as I can get is this:

Image

I sold a new SS Taurus 92 pistol - which I think is a copy of the Beretta - A month or two ago.
And it was pretty thick - But I'm not sure if it was just the grips or if it was the gun too.

Fairly unusual gun too!! The "slide" is really something!!

I've handled the Beretta and have the Taurus 92, and honestly, I like the Taurus better based on nothing more than the location of the safety.
I really dislike slide mounted safeties.
Aside from that, the Beretta is a great gun although it's not really a CCW.

I have the Taurus PT 99, pretty much the same as the Beretta, I could list the difference but where's the fun in that?

The grip is pretty thick for my short fingers but still very controllable, most double stack guns are. Guess that's why I like my Sigma.

My Sigma fits me pretty good too.
Thinking about putting in an Apex kit to get rid of the hinge, but I don't know if it's needed

They do have rather thick grips, but fit my hands well. Its a good think they make lots of different guns in lots of different shapes and sizes.

While I have one, and have always felt it to be extremely reliable, I just can't get used to the fatness. WAY fatter then either of my double stack glocks (G22 and G29)

They do make some thinner grips.
I had some Pachy's on mine and it was much thinner than the OEM grips I replaced it with.

Husker, do the Apex kit. I did have to switch back to the original firing pin spring cuz the one in the kit wouldn't hit hard primers with enough force.

Should I get the spring kit too and just not use the FP spring?
