So....the new grips for the P64 tamed it. It's fun to shoot and really accurate. The only complaint I have is the double action pull is crazy hard. Somewhere around 26 lbs. You have to squeeze so hard that the grip flexes and can unlock itself. If you draw the hammer back manually on the first shot, the trigger pull drops to about 4lbs. It's so light, it can bump fire (not sure if that's the correct term) if your not careful. I hope I can remember how to post the pictures.

Both of my P64s. They show a lot of holster wear, but internally looked like they'd rarely been shot. The picture shows the increased width of the replacement grip isn't much, but it makes a world of difference.
It took some time to figure out what I was doing wrong. I need more practice posting pictures.

Get a new set of springs from these guys... IIRC its the hammer spring that controls the trigger pull. Guys?

make all of the difference in the world, trust me on that one... been there.

Happy shooting Dave Gillespie - (Sharp Shooter), you will be missed and remembered.

We will miss you Jerry Roberts - (woodyubet), you will not be forgotten.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

I don't get photobucket. I'm trying to upload more pictures and nothing is getting through. I'm lucky I got the two posted. I'm not doing anything different, they just don't get sent. An hour after I send them I get a notification saying it didn't get delivered.

I feel your pain George. I think photobucket has went downhill from what they used to be. If it were not for the many many pictures I have there I would consider trying another photo storage server.
