Some of those pictures won't open for me.
Is it an AR pistol?
What went into it?
Inquiring minds want to know...and so do our tiny minds

Yup! AR-9 glock mags.

Still not word on my buffer kit :(

I guess it would work OK on regular 115gr 9mm, I have some of the weaker variety, and if I still have some perfecta, it was lots less than even WWB...
I really wanna wring this thing out, but that's the only thing I'd feel comfortable with, lame 9mm

Auto-bot phone system...
I hung up on it and went in.
They fixed the problem, but the buffer still in transit.
I have tracking, I will check that.

Nice. How well do those Glock drums run? I've always wanted to check one out.

Have not fired it in anything, yet :(

Mainly for this "pistol" and I can also swap on a carbine upper, and still use the glock lower. That's the plan :)

How U doing, Walt

Good Deal! I'm OK, just need a job (I'm a sparky-construction whore) but doing pretty good! Doing some spring time stuff around he place, a couple/3 builds, all AR-related. I'm having fits with a 15" free float I'm installing on a 14.5" pinned/welded upper (non-SBR) it was a cheap reject from a friend, but I may have to shorten it and use it on another setup... It ends up off center at the muzzle, between .060" and .125" give or take. I know the optics will be fugged too, so I gotta fix it! Maybe... unless I just run a small scope or dot on the flat top.

Construction is feast or famine, been there done that. Hope you find something soon.

I'm getting lazy in my old age, I would throw a scope on that upper and call it good...

Well, good thought, but it is a lightweight build. I'm calling it an "Econo-LITE" and I expect just over 5# or so. Maybe just under...
I will at least put a fixed magnification RDS on it, but I'd like flip ups. It all adds weight :groan:
I might keep the cheap-O crappy free float for something else that does not matter, I could throw on a CF tube and get it lighter, but that kinda negates the "econo" part of the build :owned: I'm looking at maybe $600 as is, with careful parts selection, mods of cheap mil-spec parts, and patiently waiting on great deals. I got a great deal on a 14.5" Faxon pencil barrel, saved a bunch of weight there! It was $109 on sale. Which is coincidentally the weight in pounds, also :D
1.09# which is 17.xx ounces and I did weight it, right on their advertised specs! $30 for the handguard, but if I can't use it, :p
Did you fellows know that most of the lightest parts are standard GI? The second lightest pistol grip is the one everyone has, the A2 grip. Most others are nearly double the weight. I modified a standard 6 position stock, got it down to 6.2oz as compared to an MFT Minimalist stock, @ ~5.9oz and around $50. The GI stock was free, basically. Looks pretty cool too! I can get UNDER the MFT easily, but I like the look now and I would really want a new custom trigger for the collapsible stock pin, and I have not found the proper piece to fabricate that yet. But I have an idea ;) I even beveled the threaded cap nut on the adjuster part of the stock, for some weight loss. I will be running a lighter semi-auto bolt, custom tuned buffer, and if I get really ambitious, I can get a LW titanium adjustable gas block, save some weight there, (not much) and then run a hollow buffer, and even a lighter bolt that ever. That will cost some real $, however. :P I will prolly stay true "ECONO" and call it good if I get around 5#. I know some have built under 4#, but swiss cheese, $2000 worth of custom parts, and compromised strength is not part of my recipe.

Looks good Mole!!! May I ask whose upper you used? I've seen for a while now, the "kits" that you can slide a Glock lower into but they've been pricey so
I haven't looked for a while now...

It's all PSA, I got the lower as a "blem" but I cannot tell where the blemishes are. I put that together, with an LPK and a KAK buffer tube, with a Shockwave Brace.

BTW, glad you replied now, my Buffer just came in today!!! :D Maybe a test fire soon?
