Since I've been gone so long, I thought I'd throw some pics of one of my new toys. It's waiting for big brother's approval before I can "legally" shoot it with the buttstock and foregrip, but it's still bad a$$!

I want one of those PLR-16s pretty bad.
I hear they are very loud, but loud is good right?
Have you fired it?
How shootable is it in pistol form?
That's going to make a sweet SBR :great:

Sadly I've yet to shoot it. :-(
Soon after getting it I ran into some medical issues that have kept me from doing pretty much anything.

I've heard they're loud too, and that's a good thing in my book! But I still need to found out for myself!
Like you, I've wanted a PLR for a LONG time! So this is a little dream come true for me! Now I just need to go play with it. ;-)

Howdy Ape! Glad to see ya buddy.

Had a customer shoot an AR pistol at the store to show me, and them bad boys are LOUD!!! This is coming from a guy that is half deaf already. Wear ear protection!

I want one of the PLR pistols, I don't like the AR pistols because of the buffer tube sticking out of the back and the PLR takes care of that problem.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

Oh ya, the piston system is the only way to go in my opinion. The buffer tube just uglys up a pretty gun.

And trust me, I always wear ear protection. I'm still paying for the one time I didn't. We were shooting .22's and it was no big deal. Still should've been wearing ears, but....
But then I swapped out cylinders on one of my Heritage's to the mag version..... It took one .22 mag round and my ear popped and hurt like hell! Now my left ear rings all the time. :-(
Lesson learned the hard way.....as usual. LOL
