Traded of my Sig P938 yesterday, it just didn't fit me.
I was all set to trade it in on a Springfield XD40 subcompact when my son noticed another rack of long guns that I hadn't looked at.
I went over to look, and lo and behold, there was a Mossberg MVP Patrol rifle in .556
Now I've been looking at those and drooling at those for a couple years now, and here was a second hand rifle at a pretty decent but not great price.\
I went to dickering pretty hard, and by the time the dust settled, I came out about $100 ahead on the deal.
Shoots good, we were hitting coffee cans full of water at 50 and 100 yards with open sights.
I'll have to find some kind of small scope for it I think.
Anyway, here's the obligatory picture

Nice looking rifle Husk, you might try one of those centerpoint scopes with the red/green reticle. Good scopes for the money.

I was really glad to find it, like I said, it's been on my list for a while.
I have a jillion AR mags to use in it too.
One thing I've noticed is that some mags fit pretty loose, and depending on what way they wobble, they may or may not feed.
Tromix makes a replacement mag well for $75 and I'm thinking I might order it just so I can use any old mag.
Also thinking about a short bipod and a sling as well as the optic.

So far it's been a good shooter
Haven't done any shooting in the last couple days, but this rifle is laying on the dining room table so I can pick it up and play with it any time I want
