So I put a bump stock on one of my AR's, and I friggin love it! A waste of ammo I guess, but fun as heck none the less!
Only problem is, the roll pin for the trigger assembly gradually came loose over time and heavy use. I was going to put a larger pin in, but then I found a kit that serves my purpose MUCH BETTER. Essentially it converts the roll pins to screws.

The video is the bump stock, with the pic of the new pins below that.

I can't get the video to play :(
I've thought about a bump fire stock, but I tend to go through a lot of ammo anyway.
I'm getting pretty good at bump firing from the hip though

Hmmmmm..... The video works for me, but it is my video after all. Maybe it's a video player problem?

None the less, I got pretty good bump firing too, but the stock makes it so much more fun! When using the stock, it's like you're shooting full auto! You can still feel the movement of the gun from the bump fire effect, but it soon becomes unnoticable.
I've shot a few full auto guns, and while it's definitely not the same, it's as close as you'll get without spending 10's of thousands of dollars. Plus the new stocks out there go for as little as 100 bucks these days! :-D

Still won't let me view.
Takes me to the Photobucket page but then I just have a little square placeholder thing.
Tried it in Chrome and IE both.
Photobucket is next to useless these days

photofucket wants 400 bucks a year for the privilege of us letting other people see our pics and vids.... its kinda hit and miss right now but its getting more and more miss.

I've got a bumpfire stock too, and I love it. I could see it being useful in a tactical situation if the SHTF. Zombies would be falling left and right LOL

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

400 bucks? Screw that!

None the less, for anyone who hasn't played with a bump fire stock, I HIGHLY recommend it!

Like I said earlier, it's as close as you'll get to full auto without spending10's of thousands of dollars on the real thing.

I'd like to try a bump fire some time but I don't really want one. I got plenty of full auto action on our platoons machine gun team in the Marines.

So you already know the fun of full auto then. ;-)

I've shot a few full auto's myself. But having one to shoot whenever I want has it's own rewards. It may not be practical, but many of the guns in my armory aren't necessarily "practical" either. :-)

Yeah when I was in the M16's were full auto, so I got to play with them but they cost too much to buy one so I got the bump fire.... I have a vid of me putting out a perfect 20 rd burst and you have a hard time telling its not a full auto rifle. Not something you play with all of the time, but you learn to become proficient with it, and then put it up in case you ever need it.

Nice thing is you can aim, bump firing from the hip is not accurate, the bump fire stock makes it where you are just as accurate as a full auto M16

That's one of the big reasons I'm such a fan of the bump fire stocks....you can aim and control the rate of fire. With a small amount of practice you can shoot single, double, triple, etc, bursts.
