The most expensive firearm I bought was right around 2000 when I bought a sniper garand with original scope. Paid 1800 for it which was may be a fair price. But regretted buying it .Money eould have been better ro have saved at the time.I sold it at a PA. gun show to a dealer just bto get rid of it. Did get 2 grand for it so was happy .
Msybe it was worth much more ,but just wanted to get rid of it.It shot ok but not outstanding for a
sniper rifle.

I can't remember what I paid the most for. Probably my Windham Weaponry for $809.99

I've got about 2500 tied up in my Bohica 50BMG and Millet .50 BMG scope. I plan to get a RPD beltfed which will go up into the 2700 category and then a VZ59 belt fed which will go in the 5500 range. Then I think I'm kinda peaked out don't know if I want to get into the full auto game or not, the thought of the paperwork doesn't excite me.

I guess I'm kinda cheap but I do a lot of swapping and such. I probably have $600 into my target AR.

It is not a bad thing to be "cheap", it helps leave you some funds for other firearms you are wanting! :D

I'm embarrassed. I don't think I've spent over $500 on any of my guns. Even my Bushmaster AR15 was $450 after the rebate. I should have bought a Wasr double stack when they were under $300 and a Rock Island 1911 when they could be had for a couple hundred dollars. But the one I still kick myself the most for was not buying the Jimenez 25. Nobody carries the Jimenez brand near me, and shipping and FFL fee kind of pushes the cost beyond reasonable.

I've never owned a Cadillac or Lincoln either. Guess I'm just cheap.

George its not a matter of being embarrassed... I have no kids, no purpose in life and no hobbies besides guns, so I spend all of my money on guns. I look at them as my retirement fund and my wifes legacy ;) Besides if I spend it all on booze, drugs and cheap hookers what will I have to show for it?
