So all this SKS talk got me to hankerin for mine, so I dug it out a little while ago.
I set a coffee can of water at 75 yards as it was getting dark and wasn't sure I could see a can at 100 yards.
I loaded 'er up with some Herter's soft points and had at it.
Anyway, the first shot blew the can apart, (water filled cans are so much fun) and I proceeded to run 19 more rounds downrange
I hate partial boxes laying around.
Anyway, when I went and picked up the coffee can, I noticed something kinda odd
A plastic coffee can, jacketed, soft point 7.62x39 and it stripped a jacket and locked it into the can.

The water basically acted like a solid and stripped it nekkid.

Ok it gets scary when the topic of "pearl necklaces" comes up between a bunch of guys... For those who think a pearl necklace is just that, let me refer you to the urban dictionary :)

I was also wondering if the true meaning had been lost in modern society. I just couldn't think of such a polite way of bringing it up without implicating Mech in some sort of sordid affair. :whip: :rules:
