Happy shooting Dave Gillespie - (Sharp Shooter), you will be missed and remembered.

We will miss you Jerry Roberts - (woodyubet), you will not be forgotten.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

Sorry to see you go Dean. Never enough time and it makes

If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

Another insightful video. Lubricant discussions are fun. Some people are so entrenched in what they use that they act like you've insulted their god by using something other than their brand. The "I only use X and everything else is crap" attitude is almost comical. The other one I get a kick out of are the recipes for making 5 gallons of homemade stuff. BarnOwl shows us that two completely different products, put under ridiculous conditions perform just fine. I use "way oil" because I have a gallon of the stuff and will probably be deceased before I use it up. I also use the little bottles of lube that comes in the cleaning kits that go on clearance after hunting season. I keep buying them because I like not having to unscrew the brushes from the rods. Every time I buy one I get another bottle of solvent and oil. I'll never use it all.

Wikipedia says the gun is a stand in for 1911s in war movies because they cycle blank ammo better that the real thing. Looks like it shoots live rounds pretty good too. A quick look on the interweb shows them reasonably priced as well. I don't own a 1911...hmmm :thinkin:

I have a star model a in 9mm largo and a model b in 9mm luger... they are well made pistols and look just like a 1911 at first glance.
