The Colt very much reminds me of an old Hi Standard .22 I had many moons ago.

I still have a Hi Standard that looks like it

I want to get a carbine one of these days. I do have a beautiful 1968 Ruger Standard (Mark 1) that is the best shooting .22 handgun I have ever fired.

Know what you mean! i have a Mark II and feel the same. Is yours the "bull barrel"?

Next closest for my collection would be my Single Six. Also a tack driver but just a tad shy of the Mark

Not a "bull barrel" but it doesn't seem to care. I'm hopint to go to the range tomorrow, I post some targets and a pic of it. It is a thing of beauty, I only shoot SV ammo in it.

I'd love a Colt Woodsman, or Browning buck mark, Hi standard, b type 22 pistol. Bull barrel Ruger are hi on my list also.
I still have my grandpa's old 22 rifle and is only ever used now to teach the kids how to really shoot.
Old iron sights with a brass bead. No they don't need adjusted, they've been spot on out to 50 yards for the last 75 years, don't touch nothing. This rifle will center punch squirrel heads at 100 yards if you do your part.
Just an old 1936 Stevens model 87A. But it's by far the most accurate rifle I own but I just got the Henry. Give me 40 more years to practice with it and ask me again.
