I agonized over what trigger to get, and looked at plenty of them.
I finally decided to get another LaRue,and as luck would have it, I caught it on sale for $99
Easy install, and I finally got out to shoot it yesterday. It was everything I need in a trigger. Smooth, light, consistent, I'm happy I went with it again.
I was easily banging a 10 inch gong at 120 yards with open sights, so that's about all a guy can ask.

You can see the target just to the right of the pistol targets.

All in all, we had a good time shooting :great:

Glad it worked out Husk! You must have way better eyes than me, I can hardly see 8" at 50 yds.

Being far sighted for years, I normally wear reading glasses for close up stuff. Now, I've found that a pair of 1.25 cheapie drug store mag readers even helps with reading street signs clearly. I should probably wear them all the time.

Shooting, anything less than 1.25 and the sights are blurry. Anything more and the target is blurry.

Only non-scoped rifles I own are the Mosin's, and they'd be scoped as well if I really shot them much and they were easier to mount one on.

I just don't do much with rifles. 95% of my irons are handguns

I've always been more comfortable with open sights, but the older I get...................

Well, handguns do take up a lot less room

Yep and I can barely store what I have of them. I'd be in trouble if my stock was in long guns

I'm approaching ridiculous on gun accumulation. Really need to thin the herd.
Trouble is, I like my guns :?

Preach brother. It's gotten so bad that I don't even use the sights on my pistols anymore if I want to even see the target. That's okay though, I've always figured 'minute of man' accuracy was close enough for handgunning.

Know what you mean. If I don't like it, I don't buy it. If I do like it, I keep it.
But just to help you out, I'd be happy to store any rare, neat, collectible or
otherwise pieces. Just to help... you know. I'll make room for you! :)

I certainly have more shootin' irons than I need. I only buy what I like now but a couple that I had in the past I was forced to sell I want to replace. A full size 1911 and a Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 Magnum 7.5" barrel. I'll build a M16A1 replica at some point but the triangle handguard isn't always easy to find as is the upper receiver.

I really like to add these on the AR's I build. And I recommed them for all users. They work with all AR triggers and the triggers are smoother when using them. Added bonus Since they where made to stop the trigger pins from walking. I went to My first and second M16/AR armors school taught by the guy that made the KNS pins. They also sell the pin and push button that is a joy to use when putting in any pin the size of the tirgger pin or bigger. Its one of my most used armors tools for pins.
