Here are a couple of my newest babies. Their mother was Cabela's of all places. :owned:
The older daughter: 1994 Norinco SKS-M
Image

Youngest daughter: 1969 Yugo M59/66 imported by Charter Arms. Did I mention bought it for $179? :good one:

To get the cosmoline off, I used "Barrel Blaster" cleaner for black powder. This took me about 45 minutes including breakdown and re-assembly. Not bad eh? :hmmm:

Very nice pair...Tee Hee.

Non-chlorinated brake cleaner works even better on the cosmoline. Its a stout grease remover. Cheap as hell to boot! Just keep it off the stock, it'll strip the wood bare.

BTW, only use the Photobucket tags if you're posting a video from your Photobucket account. For pics just use the img tags.

Maybe if the two met and had sex we might end up with a Norinco 1911?? :funny: Yeah, was down to Cabela's again tonight and I soooo wanted to buy one or two more at the price they have on them. Dude said still had quite a lot of them in back. Friend's ended up being a 1970 Yugo. Will be nice once the cosmo is off/

Thanks! I have seen and am watching for a M-N myself, will be watching sales as don't know any 'friends' with an FFL. Maybe a couple of trips to my friendly Cabela store might be in store :-)

Hey Jer, travel down to mason City if you want to get a Mosin-Nagant. Mills Farm off Hwy 18 about two miles from 35 I think on the left. Big store. Don't know if you've ever been there. Another 45 minutes from Cabellas I guess. They seem to always have Mosins on the shelf for around $100.
