I kind of agree Ricky. Although, like any automatic, if it's functioning perfectly, then why not?
Both of my 12 gauges are bolt action, I have a pump action 20 gauge though, I keep it beside my bed.

Maybe the same reason I'm not particular to Lever Actions. I don't know why either. :dunno:

You know brother, I almost had a Saige 12 gauge at the gun show, but some screw ball hogged up the table and my dad cussed him and I stood there with no shotty and I wanted to kick that dude in his nether regions.
I'm hoping for my birthday, I'll get that Saiga .223. Are they any good? Or maybe a Saiga .308, I think my LGS sells them, I could be wrong, as I often am.
Dammit, I still want to punt kick that POS. Lol. :slap:

I've got a Saiga .223, they are very good rifles.
I'd like to get another one in 7.62x39

I like them all. Once you get used to an auto, the others make not as much sense. As reliable as modern autos are, the only thing that makes a pump or a break preferable is the price, IMHO.

I'm not a big shotgunner, but I DO have one pump, one auto, and four break action singles. And I enjoy them all, for one reason or another. :D

Mech the saigas come off of the same line as the Russian AKs..... the receivers and such reach a spot on the line, and if they go one way they are made into Saigas, if they go the other way they are made into Russian military weapons.

They are some of the highest quality AK style weapons out there IMO

Well I sure would like one bud. I'm throwing hints to my dad about one for my birthday.
As it might be, I might have more serious things to worry about than my birthday. I've been considering moving in with him to do his chores for him and let him live the rest of his life as lazy as possible.
But that's another topic.

If he's anything like my dad was, he can probably look like he's doing nothing, and end up doing twice what you did, even though you were sweating up a storm. ;)

Be careful about doing it all for him...those old guys like puttering around, makes them feel useful, and that's a HUGE thing for the men of that generation. Not so much for our generation, as far as I have observed.

Grandpa always had a "man-cave" where the guys would do guys stuff. Beer, Boating, fishing, hunting, we did it all. Now it seems all we do now that he is gone is wait half an hour to eat at fancy restaurants. Sooo lameee...
