:worthless:

Well one day would like to have a KSG (14 and 1) 2 3/4 home protection from KelTec but until then Mossberg will have to do. :owned: This particular model holds 8 rounds. We go camping in some really remote places (my wife and i) Last year, nearly, we were all over the Dakotas, Montana which may be the most beautiful state in the union. Lots of places had signs and evidence and sightings of bear. My 40 cal would just make em mad.

Here are a couple of pics. I made a very short picatinny rail at work and strapped on a NcStar laser. Now this is billed as a compact laser?????? 3.25X1.5X1 hardly strikes me as being compact. Was going to put it on my P95 Ruger till i realzed it was sooo bulky that it made it difficult to build the custom fiberglass holster i had in mind.

I figure if this can take the shock of a big pistol 500 smith, 454 or something like that it could take the Mossberg! Will have it out at the range with a silhouette target and post some pics.

those were on sale at our local shop for 229.99 plus tax, but with the full stock as opposed to the pistol grip. if i didnt have an 870 setup similar to that, i would have brought one home :)

I have a light on my Stoeger Double Defense
Handy when odd noises occur in the chicken house at night.

Mossberg 500 "Cruiser" 12 gauge. Holds 8+1 and has a heat-shield. I have a wood-butt stock for it that I use for hunting also.

Damn! So many shotguns out there that A) apparently imitate the venerable Model12 Winchester B) imitate a different gun that the Model 12 Winchester also imitated. :dunno:

Regardless, nice lookin shotty. :thumb:

Those Winchester B Model 12 are nice but why are they so expensive...I mean honestly why would somebody pay that much for a shot-gun?

The weird thing I've seen concerning the model 12 is that they run the gamut from inexpensive to really extremely expensive. No rhyme or reason that I can see either. Mine is in extremely good condition for it's age. And I've had it appraised at between $385 to as much $950. :dunno: I have the early external Lyman choke on it that some said detracted from it's price and some that said it added to it's price. Who knows for sure? it was a personal opinion given by gunsmiths that were prolly expecting me to offer it for sale even though I made it clear it was for insurance purposes. It's a family heirloom, after me IDK who will take possession of it since I have no children. It was my grandfathers and then my fathers. A one family shotgun. That makes it priceless to me. :great:

Didn't yours come with a butt-stock also? If not check your local gun stores I found one in a bargain bin for $20. I only prefer the pistol grip because I was trained with a pistol grip while in the military. We had a SSGt bust his front teeth out like a dummy. He came walking on the bus spilling blood everywhere LMAO!

Lol. That sounds like something a Butter Bar would do, not an NCO. Lol.
