Test painted my old H&R Model 732 SIDEKICK. I'll be doing the C9 next.

I used Revlon nail polish and the color is "Spun Sugar". It is a gray metallic and looks nice and shiny. The red stripe on the cylinder is a reflection of some sort. I'd like some feedback, please. The pics are very high resolution and I didn't want to resize them to embed them. Is that OK?

No problem posting a link. Sometimes it's the best way if you need a large or detailed view.

I can't part with the H&R, it's a family heirloom, belonged to my dear old Grampa. It was made in 1958 and just keeps shootin'. Nice little gun. They are getting scarce, but I saw one at a LGS recently for $90.

Yep, I still shoot it now and then. The cost and scarcity of .32 S&WL keeps me from shooting it as much as I used to, but it can be used as a hammer when removing the ejection pin on the new C9.

Good to know you shoot it, these old revolvers deserve trigger time and you're keeping a bit of history alive.

True; .32 revolver ammo can be hard to find and it isn't cheap. You can safely fire .32 acp in it but that's not much cheaper and it's inaccurate in the revolver.

I've been watching for a set of .32 (any) dies so I can reload but haven't found a set yet.

That color makes the "rollover" look like it was engraved down to metal. I didn't pick it by name, rather by appearance. Trust me, I won't tell my buddies what it's called. I'll probably tell them it's called "Manly Metallic". :mdr:
