Where was this one in the ugly gun thread. I'm a sucker for any of the South American manufactured guns.

Yup, the Cabeza de Aqila definitely qualifies for the Ugly Gun thread. I've looked for information on them on a number of Latin American firearms forums and there isn't much out there. The design is very crude but extremely functional and reliable. But along the path to make this gun, the designers stopped at a cantina for a beer, and when they departed, they left beauty and elegance on the table.

this time last year i had 6 .22's, now just 2
1. Sig Mosquito .. picture color looks off, flat dark earth and nice in person, sweet little shooter, Sig recommends CCI, but this one shoots any and all very well, my wife calls it hers!
Image
This was a one off, the regular rifle scope is too heavy! a small red dot scope works great, this mount works with any regular rail pistol and has a [icatinny on bottom and on side.
Image

2. Savage Mark II F bolt action, wife bought it for my birthday years ago and it is oldest gun i have, will never part with it.
Image
by the way, scope on pistol now sits on this rifle

J/K... but that thing is HUGE on there. I'm guessing it would be hard to hold up and steady?

Been on the other forum, this one sort of dropped off my radar.
Only got the Savage a couple days ago. My first bolt action rifle & the least expensive. The CMMG was the most accurate, but now that all the others have a muzzle target crown, we'll have to see.
