We will miss you Jerry Roberts - (woodyubet), you will not be forgotten.

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

Just because you are unnatural, bizarre, bring problems on yourself, and don't fit in does not mean I dislike you...well, yeah it does

I carry my JHP in an under the seat holster, one in the chamber with the safety on. If I wanted a hammer I would carry one.

I carry a hammer, pliers, and some screwdrivers. :groan: plus two full tool boxes in my Expie. Sometimes I actually carry a gun. Not often however. Working at a public school makes it more of a hassle than the kids are worth. I hear every year that I drive the 'worlds most precious cargo'...too bad they don't want to pay me well for that responsibility. I drive to keep my ass safe, that makes everyone on board just as safe as I want to be. 'Worlds most precious cargo' my ass. Most of them these days don't even know what gender they are by the time they are ready to graduate. Pigeon-toed wimps most of the boys are, not all, but the majority. Having a hard time getting anyone to go out for sports these days. Not that I like sports, but as a kid I played sports, just not in school. Too many rules; no hurting others, no punching, no kicking, things like that. My friends and I played games like 'gladiator', 'caveman', and survival of the strongest. In essence, we went into the woods and found large sticks to beat on each other with. The ones that gave up early because they started to bleed were beaten by all of us. Survival of the strongest. Smashed fingers, swelling, bruises, cuts were just part of the games. Only one rule...no hitting above the shoulders.

These days, high schoolers come to me on the bus wanting a band-aide because they have a hangnail! :groan: Yes, I make fun of them.

At work or home?

I have 6 various types of long guns leaning against the walls surrounding me, all have loaded mags except the one black powder rifle and the model 12 shotgun. Three loaded pistols sit on the table about two feet from me. The funny thing is I just like guns even though I can't afford to buy many of them. I live so removed from people that I don't/haven't locked the doors to my house in 30 years except when we are gone overnight which normally only once a year. But I have three large-ish dogs and two small dogs in the house that really aren't comfortable with strangers around.
