Perhaps this has been covered in a previous decade but,... I once read somewhere in the great Internet abyss that Deeb had prototypes of firearms in a more diminutive size. Hi Points version of the Baby Browning would find its way into my collection without question. Probably more than one. Could this be what his Texas venture is about? Who here wouldn't buy a Hi Point in 22 or 25?

If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

I have no experience with 10mm, but have read several posts at this forum expressing interest in it. Perhaps in a heavy platform like Hi Point it would be suitable. I'm not a fan of firearms that hurt to shoot because I develop an anticipating flinch. A buddy has a Steyr carbine chambered in something like 8mmx54. It kicked like a mule, and after being rocked by the steel but plate I couldn't shoot anything worth a damn. His S&W 500 was no peach either. I guess "a man's got to know his limitations."

On the rifles with steel butt plates, a condom for it helps LOTS! Slip on cushion with about a full 1" of compression.

10mm is fun without being too much. IE, my G29 concealed carry is no problem with both hands, a handful with my right (strong side) hand and too much with my left hand.
But how often do I shoot left handed? Only when we are doing drills... I use my .40 for that. And, you use the same dies and bullets to reload 10mm as .40 cal. 10MM
is just longer.

Speaking of shooting offhand, we took a pair of Phoenix and tried hitting targets with one in each hand. I'm sure there's a name for it. I could hit a barn if aiming at its broad side. It's done in movies, but in real life I find it nearly impossible. Multitasking x 10. Still....a lot of fun. The S&W 500 was almost fun with the purchase of lighter loads. This is where reloading would be beneficial. Fine tuning the charge so the experience is manageable instead of intimidating. If your reloading 10mm, your likely to tune it to the way you like it.

Yep. 99.9% of my 10mms are pretty much full boat. if I'm to load one down, it'll be the .40.
