Yep, you should try a pound of LongShot. Don’t know who told you that but they were right! ;)

I shoot full power 230 gr rounds from my JHP, either factory or reloads. But for me long distance with my gun is 15 yds. I carry it for defense, anything farther out I'd use my 4595 or a rifle.

For my reloads I use Autocomp and Xtreme plated bullets or XTP's. Clean powder and accurate from my guns.

Autocomp is a fine powder! Runs pretty clean and gives decent velocity!

Big J, have you ever gotten around to trying LongShot yet? We have a local Sheriff deputy here that I taught to reload last year. Made
a mid range recipe for him in .40/180gn and he tells me it's the ONLY round he's ever shot from his duty pistol that goes to point of aim.
Says all the other ammos (including factory Speer Gold Dot) has to be compensated by aiming a bit high or a bit low and to the left or...
