If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

its pretty cool. Being vinyl, it is not permanent, yet it protects the gun from weather, scratching etc. just something im considering. I get paid tomorrow and there is supposed to be a vendor by where i work. I may just order it, the holster from hi-points website or amazon. I am also thinking about getting the textured black grips. the instructions on gunskins says a simple hair dryer works just as well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V1 ... WE959EB3A1 use these grips under the vinyl would be more effective considering the textured nature.

If you want a really nice holster, I'd get one from our own srtolly! Dynamite work!!! Several of us here have at least one of Scotts holsters and can say they are top quality.
PM Scott here on the board and inquire!

Can't say as I have any. I always carry on my hip. Shoulder, cross draw, etc are more a matter of personal taste or preference.
My only real thoughts here are that any holster should be able to securely hold the weapon with no chance of it "accidentally" falling out,
it must be easy to reach and easy to re-holster. Other than that, preference.

That is pretty cool looking! It's refreshing to see something that doesn't re-enact some military theme, although I am also tired of the same-o camouflage treatments. These appear to liven those themes up some.

I'm with you on the idea of a shoulder holster Mountain. My shoulder prohibits me from lifting my arm high enough to remove a gun from a belt mounted holster or an IWB. I can still reach my opposing armpit however. :eeewww: Of course I could also use a cross-draw holster but that too seems a bit inconvenient. Maybe not; however, it might be uncomfortable sitting with a gun butt stabbing me in the gut. :hmmm: Overall, I don't carry anyway. No need to. Even if I did need to I don't thin k I could carry concealed, too robust at the waist, too stiff to reach around, I don't or very seldom wear coats or jackets even in winter, summer is jean shorts and a tee shirt exclusively. :dunno: Pretty hard to cover up even a small pistol with the way I dress.

Thanks for the kind words Ex. I'll have my leather bench done and in use by Tuesday and a couple sides sides Friday. Work has piled up a bit since the flood of 2016 in my basement.

I had to sell some guns to cover our losses so I don't have any Hipoints anymore (I hope that doesn't exempt me from the gang). Still need to get a bunch of primers so I can do some reloading.
