Hello Everyone.
Just picked up a new 45 today to compliment my 380 and C9.
The mag fell out once when firing it for the first time. Only put 10 rds thru it and really like how it shoots.
Any ideas???

Congrats on the new toy :great:
Not sure why the mag dropped, I'd guess either it didn't get clicked in all the way (stiff mag springs will make it hard to get pushed all the way in) or maybe you bumped it with your off hand?
I'd shoot it a little more before i worried too much.

New toys are always fun, and more so when said toy is in .45 cal. From your post, I gather it only happened on the first shot. If that's the case, I believe Husker's right on target, so to speak.

When I got my C9 I had the exact same problem. Didn't matter how I tried to adjust my grip, my thumb would just touch the release button and there goes the mag again.
I was ready to grind down the button. This was years ago before I even knew about our home here. Was over at HPFF mentioning this "mag drop" frustration and MO
came to the rescue.

Underneath the right side grip is the mag release spring. Take the right grip off, lift out that spring and gently give it just a little more bend! I'd be this 2 minute job will solve you problem!

And thanks again Mo!!!

Thanks. Just fired 40 more rds thru it sighting it in and had no bissues so I'll leave well enough alone for now. Need to tweek the drift or maybe its me. Dead on at 10 yards. 16 yards...left of center. Probably more me than the gun.
May be other guns but not better...just different.

You have to use the "postreply" button and it'll give you the options like video, photo, URL... Photos can't be too big though. If it's a large photo, just paste in the URL and we'll click on it to see...

Once you select a photo, over on the right side of the photos, there are 4 choices at the top right of the picture. Email and IM, Direct, HTML and Image. Select and copy the code for image.

I should have said this part first... There are two screens to post a message with on this forum. 1st there is the normal box you can just type in. 2nd, at the lower left of the typing window, is an option for "post reply". Using the post reply button will give you additional options like a bunch of smiliey faces... you may have seen this already. Use this one to post pictures.

At the top of the typing screen, there will be choices for other options like 'B' for bold text or "i" for italicized and "u" for underlined. There, you will also see the option for "Img". Use that to paste in your desired picture. The line you paste in needs to end with .jpg or .png or .bmp because these are image files.

Take another run at it and I'll keep a watch for you next post. I'll jump in to help where I can.

The first issue I see with you previous two photo attempts is the "share" work near the front of the post. It should look more like this
"http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n532/exisp/Trump.jpg"

The link I just put in quotes for the example actually goes here

Doing anything in here off an android phone is a problem to say the least. Some use tapatalk...I don't. That might make things easier... :dunno:

The browsers I use in my android are Chrome, Firefox and Google. YMMV with these. Normally I open this forum in Chrome. It's not very good in Chrome however, it doesn't render correctly (meaning, in part, that it doesn't display correctly per screen size). I haven't tried it in the other two...I just wait to get on my home computer.

What Ex said to post images here...in PB click on the picture you want to post...

on the right side of it there is a place that says share this photo...

This area is customizable...but for now there should be something that says this>

Direct..........A box with a URL address in it
IMG.............A box with a URL address in it
IMG thumb...A box with a URL address in it

and possibly more/less, or different, choices, depending on how it's set up.

The one you want to use is the one that says IMG...click on the box next it (try right and left clicks to see what works best) and it should do something...either turn a color or say copied...if it turns colors then right click on it and select copy from the menu that drops down. Sometimes it will just say copied...it makes no sense to me why it does what it does...

Either way, once you think it was copied just paste it in the textbox here, should be nothing more to do...just in case though, click on review below to be certain it worked. If it shows as a simple URL then highlight the entire address and click on the Photobucket button above, that will surround the URL with the code that causes it to bring the photo here instead of us going to it...

Clear as mud?
