And a cheap knife to boot! :thumb:

Jason needs to buy a dozen of em at that price and just hang on to them! Selling at normal price would still be an acceptable profit. :yes2: As long as he makes the customer(s) pay shipping.

AND Cabelas is offering free shipping for orders $99 or more!

As much as I freakin' HATE Cabelas in Rapid City...

I ordered 2 of them!!
$106.49 each for a total of $212.98

I can't believe how cheap some of these guns are...
1st that S&W Shield Husker told us about - and now this!!

I'll just have to remember to take a deep breath and remember the joy of calmness before I walk into Cabelas with my FFL in hand.
The last time I dealt with them the incompetence was just unreal for a supposed gun "Super-Store"...

I dropped a gun off there for another fellow to pick up.
I had my FFL unfolded - in their face - I told the guy 5 or more times,
"This is MY FFL you dumb f#cker. And I'm dropping off a gun here. It's no different than if I sent it here with this copy of MY FFL."

After about 10 minutes of watching these people mulling around behind the counter with their thumbs in their ass...
Finally, an old guy appeared and said hello - Looked at me and my FFL and said, Oh, YOU are the FFL!!"

That's what I've been telling these freakin' idiots!!

Anyway - When my 2 C9's get there - I'll be ready for them this time!!

And I just might keep one for myself!! :great:

When I hit the link it comes up $169. Was it a one day flash sale? At $99 it's better than money in the bank. Guess I missed out.

Must have been a real short sale. I got mine for $99 and free shipping. Was thinking about getting another but sale was already over. As for now the order shows pending. We'll see when it gets here. Didn't need, but for the price why not.

Can I order the gun from Cabela's website and have it shipped to my local Cabela's and avoid the FFL transfer fee? $129 for the 45? Everyone who has a 45 likes it. Seem like another no-brainer.

I was notified yesterday that my two C9's have arrived!!

I will pick them up Friday since I'll be in the Big City Friday anyway for an appointment at my pain doctors.

Looks like I ordered those babies just in time...

I stopped in at Cabelas today and picked up my two C9 pistols.
I waited until the oldest guy behind the counter was free and I asked him.

I showed him my FFL and plainly explained the name on the FFL is MINE...
I also showed him my drivers license.

He actually sorta seemed to know what he was doing!!
He filled out a bunch of stuff on a computer and did have to call some other guy,
Then together they got it done.

But it still took them quite awhile!!!

I told them at least they didn't have to fill out a multiple sales form and send it to the FBI and the local top cop.
And he turned around and said, "I know - I'm glad about that!!

While waiting, I looked around a bit...
These are the 22 shells the had on the shelf:

Image

Looks like plenty!! :great:

Anyway, I have the C9's at home now.
They gave me the boxes they were shipped in:

Image

I wonder if they could put a few more stickers on the outside of the plastic cases..!!!???!!!

Image

Another thing I wasn't too impressed with is they opened the box
the knife was in and wasn't very careful about it.
I am planning on selling these!!
Sometimes people notice that kind of stuff...

Image

I guess I could just get rid of the box...
The guy behind the counter said, Geez!! These come with a $50 knife too!!

And it is a pretty nice knife!!
Certainly Not an "Ex Quality" knife...
But A Kershaw with a cool Hi-Point Logo:

Image

So - for around a $100 for a C9 with the case and the Kershaw knife...
That's a pretty good deal!!

I've never owned a "working" 9mm pistol - seems like everyone else on earth has - but not me.

So I am SERIOUSLY considering keeping one for myself!!!

As a member of a Highly Esteemed Site like this one - A guy should own one of each!!
I have the JHP and the 4595...

So I'll think about it - I don't need it - It'd just be kinda fun to have one. (-:

Anyway - They're home - That's the main thing!!
